Attorney Milica Cvijanović finished high school – Gymnasium in Banja Luka, to graduate from the Faculty of Law in Belgrade in 1969.
She passed the bar exam in 1975 in Sarajevo. Her first employment dates back to 1968 in the Municipality of Banja Luka as an expert associate for legal affairs (Secretariat for the Economy and Secretariat for Property and Legal Affairs).
Since 1976 she has been appointed a judge of the Criminal Division of the then Municipal and today Basic Court in Banja Luka. She worked as a judge until 2004, when she appeared as an independent attorney.
In the period from 2000 to 2004, Milica Cvijanović held the position of the Head of the Criminal Division and Deputy President of the Basic Court in Banja Luka. She was a lecturer and initiator of a legal clinic for the commission of crimes by drug addicts, as well as a member of the interdisciplinary group for the fight against drug addiction in the former Yugoslavia, and she is a participant in numerous seminars and conferences in the field of organized crime, Criminal Law response to the most serious forms of crime and juvenile delinquency.
Areas of law she deals with are: Criminal Law and criminal procedure, misdemeanor procedure, Administrative Law and procedure, and Real Rights and non-litigation procedure.
